Exploded on the World deaf athletics scene winning gold in both the 800 & 1500 metres at the 18^th CISS World Deaf Games, Copenhagen 1997
Achieved two more medals (both bronze) in the same events at the 20^th Deaflympics, Melbourne 2005
Won several major honours including 9 Gold Medals at numerous European Indoor and Outdoor events as well as European International meetings 1998-2005
2 x World Records Holder; 3 x European Records Holder; 6 x British Records Holder and 8 x British Records Holder (Masters)
