Took part in five Deaflympics – two for Athletics (Belgrade 1969, Malmo 1973), three for Football (Koln 1981, Los Angeles 1985, Christchurch 1989). A phenomenal feat.
Amazingly won a full set for Great Britain Deaf football at Deaflympics - Bronze, Silver & Gold.
Was instrumental in helping Birmingham win all domestic and honours in English Deaf Football and the British Deaf Challenge Cup.
A prolific all-round sportsman with plenty of trophies and medals to his name. Still does walking football even into his Seventies!
Probably the greatest centre back of all time, and a top classic role model for deaf football.
